Tara's Accolade Devon Tourism Awards 2012!
22 year old Tara was a finalist winning the Bronze in this years Devon Tourism Awards 2012 in the "Outstanding Customer Service" category following a "mystery" visit.
We have recently been informed that Tara is now in the Finals for South West Tourism Awards to be held in February 2013 at the Eden Project.
Tara has been employed at Hedgehog Corner since starting out as a school girl some 8 years ago.
Joy entered Tara in this category without her even knowing! The entry form was very long and detailed and listed as much information about Tara's work, achievements and guest feed back here at Hedgehog Corner & Goodlands our holiday cottage. It was amusing to see her total suprise at all this news!

We are also pleased to report getting a Gold Award from Taste of the West in the Hospitality & Flavour category in October 2012..
A mystery visitor came along to taste our breakfast and recognised our commitment to home made and locally sourced produce - see our breakfast menu.
